Let's Go For a Walk

Dodged oncoming bikers, watched out for spider webs, and avoided any poisonous  plants. Yep, I went for a walk. Joined by Hali of Pretty Things and her adorable pooch Tynker-Belle, we followed a winding trail through the woods without knowing exactly where we were going. Hali & I engaged in priceless conversation and Tynk sniffed every single thing within reach of her nose. Meanwhile, I was having a field day with my camera. Needless to say, we had a blast and it's definitely one of our new favorite things to do. 

Inspiration Jar

During my stay in Michigan, my cousin Cieara had a glass jar in her room labeled "The Inspiration Jar". Inside were folded slips of paper with various quotes and sayings that ultimately inspired her. When I saw this, I thought it was brilliant and decided to be a copy cat. So I encourage you to do the same. Be inspired and make a jar.

Resolutions & Possibilities

5...4...3...2...1...Happy New Year!! 

Whenever a new year comes around, I get so excited about all of the possibilities that could occur in the next 365 days. Who's gonna be the next one-hit wonder? What new fad will come about? What will be cool this year that wasn't last year & vice-versa?

I also like to think to myself, how can I give this year it's own identity? I don't want 2011 to be a carbon copy of 2010. I don't think any of us do. So since it's the third day of the year, I've decided to make my list of resolutions; in picture form of course! Enjoy.

Holiday Farewell

Due to a plethora of holiday festivities and get-togethers, there won't be any new posts until the last week of December. Thankfulness

Cornbreads and dressings, potatoes, mashed or sweet. This is the holiday for all you can eat. As Thanksgiving Day comes to a close, we sit with full bellies and hearts warmed by love. I am so thankful for this holiday, because it's a sweet, annual reminder to count your blessings. Living in such an affluent country, it's very easy to forget how fortunate we actually are. So there is always something to be thankful for. At the top of my list? Belonging to a family that keeps God first, loves unconditionally & laughs uncontrollably.
